Brightminds’ Strategic Role in Elevating TikTok STEM Feed Soft-Launch in Indonesia

TikTok Indonesia successfully held a hybrid press conference titled “TikTok Perkenalkan Feed STEM, Permudah Pengguna Eksplor Konten Inspiratif dan Edukatif” on 5 March 2025. Through this event, TikTok introduced a dedicated feed to showcase STEM-related content from local creators and publishers in Indonesia. The availability of the STEM Feed strengthens TikTok’s role as an educational platform where users can interact positively and gain new knowledge. It also underscores TikTok’s commitment to supporting the growth of learning communities and the government’s mission to increase STEM talent in Indonesia.

Brightminds Indonesia supported TikTok Indonesia in amplifying the STEM Feed soft-launch through strategic event execution, media outreach, and creative content production. This included developing compelling narratives and designs for the soft-launch ceremony, STEM Feed demo videos, and an experience booth featuring three inspiring TikTok content creators; managing media relations; and ensuring seamless coordination with key stakeholders, including journalists, content creators, publishers, and government officials. For the press conference, Brightminds managed to achieve targets in terms of media attendance, securing more than 90% offline attendees from tier 1 media. Supported by high media attendance, the event also generated extensive news coverage with over 70% coming from tier-1 media.
